End to end solar analysis, in two minutes
Mark your roof on the map, tell us how much power you use, and get the same analysis an engineering firm produces: how many panels fit, how much energy you would generate, what share of your bill it covers and how long it takes to pay for itself.
The calculation uses an hourly model with diffuse irradiance decomposition (Erbs), transposition to the module plane (Hay-Davies), a cell thermal model and an hour by hour crossing against your load profile. It runs entirely in your browser: we store nothing.
Where is the roof?
Type the address, paste a Google Maps link or use your location. Then drag the marker to adjust it, and click on the roof to trace its outline.
We could not get your location. Please type the address instead.
The map could not load. You can still enter the roof area by hand.
Outside major cities, high resolution satellite imagery does not always reach maximum zoom. We detect the detail available at your point and adjust the map automatically. If you prefer street references, switch to the Map layer at the top right.
What is the roof like?
Click on the map to mark the roof corners and we work out the area for you. Or simply type it in.
How much power do you use?
Annual consumption is enough for a first estimate. Entering all twelve months gives a sharper result, because it respects your seasonality.
It is the variable charge on your bill divided by the kWh for the period. If you do not have it handy, leave the suggested value and we adjust it with your bill.
The file is not uploaded anywhere: it stays on your device. We remind you at the end so you can send it over and we confirm the analysis with your real figures.
